We’re thrilled to announce that id3as—the company behind Norsk—has been named to Streaming Media magazine’s annual Streaming Media 100 list honoring the most innovative, important, and interesting companies in the online video space.

“The Streaming Media 100 foregrounds the industry’s most innovative and influential technology suppliers, service providers, platforms, and media and content companies, as acclaimed by our editorial team,” says Streaming Media editor-in-chief Steve Nathans-Kelly. “From the large and established industry standard-bearers to the comparably small and relatively new, all set themselves apart from the crowd with their innovative approach and their singular contribution to the growth of the streaming ecosystem.”

What’s especially gratifying about our inclusion on this year’s Streaming Media 100 is that this is the first time in many years that the list includes not just solutions providers like id3as, but also media publishers, so it’s a truly comprehensive (if U.S.-centric) look at the media universe. (Streaming Media also publishes a Europe-focused list every year.)
